Great news just posted by the BC Alliance: BC gaming announces $5mil for new capital projects — more details here.
Gaming has revised its guidelines for the 2017 Community Grant Program – go here to view.
I have recently completed an analysis of these new guidelines, against the previous years’ document — the changes to this year’s guidelines are largely in format/organization, rather than substance (although there are a few new section regarding service organizations). I also recently attended an information session at the BC Alliance for Arts & Culture (Feb 6, 2017), regarding the new guidelines.
For my analysis on the guidelines, you can download my edited version:
2017 Community Grant Program Guidelines – changes&additions
Wording/substance changes to this year’s guidelines are highlighted; in addition, important notes/clarifications from the Feb 6th session are denoted with comments (in red).
In addition, as many of you may know, I use ‘worksheets’ for the preparation of my clients’ Gaming applications, which helps with pre-prep for the online form. You are welcome to download and use these, if you wish:
- LDCC 2017 Gaming Community Grant – REGULAR Form Worksheet: 2017 Community Grant Program Appl Questions (Regular Form)
- LDCC 2017 Gaming Community Grant – SHORT Form Worksheet: 2017 Community Grant Program Appl Questions (Short Form)
Last but note least…I will be presenting a “Navigating Gaming” workshop at the BC Alliance on March 22, 2017. Click here for more information or to register.
